Alicia attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE, where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) as well her BS in Medical Science in 2010. Alicia was a recipient of the Regents scholarship. She graduated with distinction, an honor reserved for the top 10% of the graduating class. She is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association (NPTA).
Alicia has a strong interest in treating orthopedic and sports injuries with a special interest in shoulder and knee rehabilitation. She also enjoys the treatment of vestibular and balance related issues. She is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association (NPTA). Alicia is also a SportsmetricsTM Certified Instructor which focuses on athletic enhancement coupled with ACL injury prevention.
As an athlete at Hartington Cedar Catholic High School, Alicia received Mid-State Conference Honorable Mention while participating in high school volleyball. She also participated in the Nebraska state track meet, competing in long jump and triple jump.
Besides an interest in sports, Alicia also holds a strong interest in music. She has had the opportunity to be choir director and church organist at her home parish. She has also been involved with teaching piano lessons, participated in jazz band, and competed at district music contests. Currently she enjoys spending her time with her husband, Alex and children, Alexis, Cohen and Micah.
